Hi, thanks for going through my profile. My name is Alejandro Uzcátegui. I'm Venezuelan, a chess player and a professional coach. I am currently a Master Fide with a Norm of International Master.
I am a lover of the study of chess and computer science, being these so related have been of great help to me when it comes to getting the best information for my students.
I feel very committed to the progress of my students, I am completely convinced that anyone can be a great chess player!

Since I was little my life has been very linked to chess, I have been 14 times national champion of Venezuela in my category, which led me to represent my country internationally.
At the age of 13, when I won the Central American and Caribbean Championship, I achieved the title of Master Candidate. In 2015 I managed to become a Master Fide and the International Master norm for my performance in the CentralAmerican and Caribbean S20.

Throughout my career I have had very good coaches, but I have also had to work alone, that has helped me to get the best methods to progress quickly in this beautiful game. I would like to show you how my way has been through chess, and be able to make yours much easier, so that you can improve your chess exponentially!

For 3 years I have been a trainer in my city where I have worked with children and adults from the beginner-middle level (0-1900). They have achieved great results, rapidly increasing their rating and have radically changed the way they view chess.
1 year ago I started working online with my students and the results have been incredible, the classes through the internet allow you to use a host of tools immediately.

I have had many types of students, which showed me the importance of each student having a personalized training plan, since each player has his unique style.
Chess has a large amount of information available to everyone, if you do not have an organized training system it can lead us to waste a lot of time and not get results.

My training is based on the identification of the weaknesses and strengths of my students. In this way, we can prepare them to be complete chess players.
A complete chess player is one who knows how to handle each of the concepts of the 3 phases of chess and apply them.
Many times training is usually boring and no matter how hard you work, you feel that you are still stuck on the same level. My training will always seek a rapid progress in your game, but also that you enjoy each class and always being hungry to learn.
