One of the worst losing streaks ever

It’s so crazy how I literally almost broke a new record for myself in rapid only To be followed by a massive week long losing streak. Everything from mouse slips, hanging queens , obvious blunders to straight up losing. Dropped over 100points in rapid. Frustrated.

I’m taking a week off.

What do you guys do to bounce back to build self esteem in game play.love and hate this game.
How about building up a chess library? What could be more fun than lounging in your Lazy-Boy chair with a coffee or beer and your pet in front of the fire-place, with your chess set on your lap and a copy of Irving Chernev's "Practical Chess Endgames" ?
That's what I am doing right now and loving it.
My losing streaks always precede winning streaks. Find your self-esteem in something other than a board game.
If you have been learning new techniques and tactics prior to your loss, I would chalk it up as adopting a more nuanced approach. That has been known to come with certain setbacks in rating, as your playstyle changes and you need to relearn some thing. If so, a weekly break sounds good, let your subconscious digest the knowledge.

If you haven't been studying new concepts recently, then a weekly break sounds good as well. Just to clear your mind and approach the board with renewed energy at a later date. In short, it's all good.
When tilt sends its shark-strength teeth after ya, ya gotta do like the fast, flying an' majestic bird: Get some distance, aye! Put down ye game for a while, then ya ought to feel an' do better, aye!

Aye, work makes ya stronger, but everything's ta be moderated an' perfected; too much work burns ya faster than a fake treasure map burns a pirate's patience!

Trust me, Shadow has defeated countless fearsome rating goals of opponents with this here strategy!
People think' a week off is the reasoning ' ... Study Chess ... yes sleep a bit more as well & eat at times ... however people don't KNOW they are playing 'over their rating Sudy to get better helps @JA10306
OK ... OK ... @JA10306 ... I figured I owed you something' so I played through all 6 losses in a row from your side . You should do so also . a Study of one's losses is more importanf than the wins you have had . Capablanca said you will have to lose hundreds of games to get better . i say thousands will be lost and learned from . Chess is that way . Fischer indluded 3 losses in his book My 60 Memorable games by Bobby Fischer also he included some Draws as well

Yo ho, yo ho, a patzer's life for me
We check we blunder, with castle and rook
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
We capture and gambit and don't give a hoot
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
Yo ho, yo ho, a patzer's life for me
